Hey! I'm Alejandro, a Backend Engineer with 4 years of experience in Golang — my language of choice and the one I follow most closely as it evolves.

My journey began with a love for mathematics and a need to understand how things work at their core. That curiosity has led me to tackle ambitious projects from scratch — including a fully functional Redis clone and an Interpreter, both built in Go, each with their own dedicated article currently in progress.

Over the past year I have been freelancing, developing a platform for a conglomerate of schools to manage their notes and records — improving upload times by up to 100x. You can read more about it here.

I also care deeply about technical communication. In the Redis article I am currently writing, I have built custom animations explaining algorithms, interactive exercises, and step-by-step code walkthroughs to make the internals of the system as accessible as possible.

In my free time I enjoy studying mathematics and sharing what I am learning with my friends — always with a first principles mindset and a drive to build things that actually matter.
